Description

In 2013, Rev. Jesse Jackson and Toyota Motor North America have teamed together to provide one of the largest and most robust scholarships available to college students. The Jesse Jackson Fellows-Toyota Scholarship is a renewable scholarship that awards up to $25,000 dollars annually to deserving college students who will be sophomores as of August 1, 2024. Students who are interested in applying for the scholarship must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, be a business or engineering major, demonstrated participation in community service and need for financial assistance. Please note that this scholarship will only cover the cost of undergraduate coursework and will not be altered. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have lawful unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (currently and in the future)• Must be a full credit sophomore by August 1, 2024 and 18 years old by July 31, 2024• Must be either a business or engineering major (that can be applied to the automotive industry) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0• Must be willing and able to work 2 Co-op terms (minimum) at Toyota (location to be determined)• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited Bachelor’s degree program• Must be open to travel and relocation for each work assignment (note: relocation assistance will be provided)
